Who ever knew that 24 hours could be so "productive"?
I was reading the lovely yellow coloured undang book yesterday while waiting for the south korea vs uruguay match to start. And it's so not a surprise even if you manage to guess that i nearly dozed off reading that book. Seriously, it was that boring. The only thing that i can remember now is some of the road signs that kept appearing in my dreams last night. ><In case you're wondering why am i at home instead of going for so BEAST's maiden live showcase in KL yesterday, i had no transport there. Gah, what a bummer. Nothing turned out right yesterday. I wanted to join the Oxford-Cambridge Essay Writing Competition yesterday at Sunway University College, but due to lack of guts (yes, i shrinked.) and transportation problem to school/ communication error with the teacher in charge, i didn't join. Yay me. Back to the undang book. I finally gave up reading that particular book and decided to switch on the television. :) Alternated between channel 707 (they had Project Runway that time) and then i realised that i've watched that entire series before, channel 703 (Fresh with Anna Olsen) then back to 707, 703 (French Food at Home) and a dose of 801, only to find that the freaking commentator was still babbling non-stop and the match hadn't started. 10.00pm. The match finally started! :D And then uruguay led 1-0. D: park chuyoung nearly scored, but the ball hit the side of the goalpost and bounced out! Gah! And then the Suarez guy wasn't marked, he scored. Wah, what a heartbreaker. I think i nearly got heart attack while watching. Korea had so many "nearly masuk" goals but gawddammit they didn't enter. Not until i finally gave up and went to bed then they scored a goal. .____________. -- Some random bit of trivia that my whole family laughed over. Since i'm still in the football mood, here you go. Unhealthy men should beware when watching a penalty shootout. Hospital admissions for cardiac arrests in England and Wales rose by 25% when England lost to Argentina on penalties on June30, 1998 and on the following two days after their World Cup tie. -- Till then, cherrios! :) |
